Working with the breath to help you be more mindful.

When we find ourselves 'challenged' or under stress, the flight or fight response, or body's sympathetic nervous system, increases heart rate and blood pressure along with a release of the stress hormone, cortisol.

On an evolutionary scale, this system helpd to protect us from threats and meet the demands of daily life. Unfortunately, in some cases, repeated daily events in our modern lives unecessarily trigger out flight or fight response. An effective counterbalance to this is mindful breathing.
